Nakdong is a technique that cuts the surface of wood by rubbing it with rice straw or molten it with fire, leaving behind a hard radish and cutting off a light surface. A traditional Korean decoration technique to save the original beauty of trees, blackened colors are naturally revealed, making the deep nature of the trees more beautiful. For this reason, wooden furniture with Nakdong was mainly used in the processing of Sarangbang furniture during the Joseon Dynasty.

The shapes of trees drawn by nature remind us of our traditional art. The entire line and surface were divided into column materials, and the board was made from Nakdong, a traditional Korean technique, to create a shade filled with surface. It is made of a joint structure that can be folded and unfolded by wood alone and delivers the feeling of the material in its entirety. The warm and heavy texture is fascinating because the hidden texture is revealed by the nakdong.
