Young Ji Ban is a wood plate that resembles the shape of a young ji mushroom(lingzhi) that symbolizes health and longevity. Young ji mushroom(lingzhi) is one of Sip Jang Saeng(十長生). Sip Jang Saeng(十長生) means ten objects that symbolize 'living long and lasting'.

In the hope of a healthy, long-lived life, the long-cherished desire of man, Young Ji Ban has been created to resemble a round, nonlinear form of young ji mushroom(lingzhi). Like mushroom, which grows in layers, Young Ji Ban can also stack containers of different sizes.
