Casting iron is a traditional craft that creates new things through harmony of iron and fire. Casting iron refers to craftsmanship's skill in handling metalwork. There are two main methods of metal processing: forging, which forms heated iron by hammering it, and casting of articles made by pouring molten metal into a mold. Casting products represented by iron pots are made by mixing limestone and coke with iron, the main material, and then solidifying them by putting them in a mold. This iron casting technique is already almost cut off, and it is very important to recreate its function.

The process of melting the iron in a furnace like a pot and solidifying it by pouring metal into a mold is called Jujo(鑄造), and the product is called Jumul(鑄物). It is a method of melting iron into a pre-made mold to produce the desired form of product. It has the advantage of mass producing the same type of product. In order to make cast iron castings, high temperature heat that can completely melt iron is needed. Korea developed a technology that uses bellows to produce high temperatures of 1,200°C earlier, more than a thousand years ahead of Europe's 13th century.

Geumsu Sajok Ban is a product that has four gently curved corners that serve as the legs. This makes it look like an animal's leg, adding variety to the product. Layered designs are easy to store in multiple layers, and have the advantage of penetrating far-infrared rays, which is very effective in cooking and preserving nutrition.
