An exhibition titled “The journey of time” at the gallery of Korean council of Argentina shares the viewpoint of Korean crafts.
Many works by contemporary crafts artists representing Korea provided a new experience in Buenos Aires, connecting the past and present.

An exhibition titled “the journey of time” has been organized at the gallery of Korean council of Buenos Aires of Argentina, sponsored by Korean council in Argentina.
More effective of communicating the contained meaning of things than words and writings is the traditional artistic patterns and the forms that contains more stories. It represents human history adapted to the society and environment of the day, and contains many more ideas and thoughts than is seen.
There are many kinds of things of Korea that is for nature, for people, for things, because our ancestors choose materials and techniques depending on usage, then applied smartest methods that is most suitable. So the beauty and the usages have been well balanced equally.
The project organized in Buenos Aires and tried to share the perspective of time that traditional crafts of Korea has in order to communicate the common experience and thoughts of people through usage and the beauty of things of Korea.
Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and co-organized by the Korea Institute of Korea Craft and Design, a total of 50 works by 14 contemporary crafts artists representing Korea presented.
