「 Yugi is a healthy tableware 」
According to the traditional intangible cultural asset, Yugi spoon and chopsticks, along with traditional fermented foods, can strengthen bones due to its antibacterial action and the nature of preserving vitamins and proteins. It prevents diseases such as arthritis and rheumatism and osteoporosis, and other diseases from mouth disease such as blood pressure control, liver protection, stroke and laryngeal cancer. In the hot summer when there was no refrigerator, the sterilization process of Yugi is excellent, if you washed the rice that had already been washed out in the water and putting a Yugi spoon in it for a while you can prevent food poisoning and stomachache. When washing raw vegetables, they deliberately used Yugi bowl to wash them because of the strong action of Yugi. In the absence of a spoon, a small Yugi spoon was placed in it to wash it. This also has the effect of sterilizing and removing pests. From the day you change the spoon to Yugi, you will not get sick, and the mouth disease will get better.
There are, of course, differences in the quality of food, between food and dish, but there are significant differences in the way we eat. The most important thing is the users to feel the sensibility of ingestion in their hands because of the angle at which Yugi enters and leaves their mouth, to feel like they are eating a hearty dish that is valuable. The object, which enters the mouth and pass through the lips which is one of the most sensitive human parts, is designed through a difficult process. Months of repeated research and experimentation have resulted in the smoothest curvature being set out of the mouth, and the amount of food that is contained is also designed to be properly and decently ingested.
“ Malgum ”
Spoon & Chopsticks
When you think of clearness and cleanness, you think of water and its hexagonal determinant, the healthiest condition of the water. The ring structure was conceived as the favorite shape for the body cells, imagining that they would naturally soften from the six-sided hard form and taste the cleaness, with deep sincerity when touched.
“ Malgum ”
Cutlery
Malgum cutlery is derived from Malgum spoon and chopsticks. It consists of a spoon, fork, and knife and that resembles a hexagonal crystal ball of water. The grasping part is hexagonal with a thickness that is easy to grasp, but the mouth part is made of a flat, smooth curve so that it doesn't have any heterogeneity during mealtime.
“ Binyeo ”
Spoon & Chopsticks
"Binyeo" resembles the shape of Binyeo which used to decorate women's hair. We've created a Binyeo as a tool to help us keep our meals tidy, like Binyeo is used to keep our hair tidy. The more the Binyeo goes down, the wider it is, and then the more it ends up gathering.
“ Caturi ”
Spoon & Chopsticks
It resembles the shape of a female pheasant tail and is named a Caturi. Caturi are sleek but not sharp, so they can be used in a more sophisticated way. Pheasant has long been recognized as an animal very friendly to our people. It often appears in folktales, novels, pansori and plays, and there are many proverbs that are compared to pheasant. As such, we hoped to have a more comfortable meal by naming the pheasant that is friendly to us.
